The judge cites the Barcelona Mobility manager as being investigated for the fatal accident of former boxer Xavi Moya. The former boxer's family believes that his death was an alleged reckless homicide or an alleged crime of neglect of duties.
"Never in judicial history has the person responsible for the conservation and maintenance of public roads at Barcelona City Council been cited for his possible responsibility in a traffic accident," state the prosecution lawyers Daniel Vosseler and Pedro Santamaría in the release. The interrogation will be carried out within the framework of the case investigating the fatal crash in a section affected by the tram works.
