Abu Dhabi Municipality has warned vehicle owners against neglecting their road hygiene, noting that the value of the neglected vehicle violation is 3000 dirhams, and it is reduced to 50% if the violation is paid before the expiry of a month from its issuance.

The municipality stressed that the cleanliness of the vehicle avoids the violation, noting that neglected vehicles are seized at the locations of the reservation yards in Al-Mafraq Al-Sina'a, next to the "Dinatrade" company, Baniyas East 15, opposite Yas Mart.

Finally, the Abu Dhabi Municipality implemented an awareness campaign to confront the phenomenon of neglected cars, to preserve the civilized and aesthetic appearance in Abu Dhabi and its suburbs.

The campaign - which lasted for five days - aimed to familiarize the various segments of society with the negative effects of the phenomenon of neglecting cars in the streets, squares and public facilities, and to guide them to the proper ways to deal with cars.

She stated that neglected vehicles in streets, squares and all public areas receive a three-day notice, and if the vehicle is not corrected, cleaned or moved, a violation is issued, and the vehicle is towed to the detention yard, and the owner of the impounded vehicle can reconcile and pay half the value of the violation within 30 days from the issuance of the violation.

The municipality called on members of the community to make an effective contribution to confronting all distortions of the general appearance in the city, and to support the efforts of the municipality and the competent institutions, in order to improve the quality of life, achieve the highest standards of safety, public health and a beautiful civilized appearance.
