There are 85 new confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia in 31 provinces, including 62 local cases

According to the official website of the National Health Commission, 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 85 new confirmed cases from 0-24 o'clock on August 4th, of which 85 were imported from abroad. There were 23 cases (9 in Shanghai, 8 in Yunnan, 3 in Fujian, 2 in Guangdong, 1 in Shandong), 62 local cases (40 in Jiangsu, 9 in Hunan, 3 in Beijing, 3 in Shandong, 3 in Henan, 3 cases in Yunnan, 1 case in Hubei); no new deaths; 2 new suspected cases, all imported cases (all in Shanghai).

　　On the same day, 40 new cases were cured and discharged, and 1,172 close contacts were released from medical observation. There were 5 more severe cases than the previous day.

　　There are 705 confirmed cases imported from abroad (including 11 severe cases) and 2 suspected cases.

A total of 7552 confirmed cases, a total of 6847 cured and discharged cases, and no deaths.

　　As of 24:00 on August 4, according to reports from 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, there are 1285 confirmed cases (including 26 severe cases), 87,453 cured and discharged cases, and 4,636 deaths. A total of 93,374 confirmed cases have been reported, and there are 2 suspected cases.

A total of 1111137 close contacts have been traced, and 37,990 close contacts are still under medical observation.

　　31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 54 new cases of asymptomatic infections, including 22 imported cases and 32 local cases (22 cases in Henan, 7 cases in Hunan, 2 cases in Shandong, and 1 case in Chongqing); 1 case was converted to a confirmed case on the same day (imported from abroad); 11 cases were released from medical observation on the same day (all imported from abroad); 527 cases of asymptomatic infection were still under medical observation (377 cases imported from abroad).

　　A total of 27,801 confirmed cases have been notified from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.

Among them, there were 11996 cases in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (11,721 discharged cases and 212 deaths), 63 cases in Macau Special Administrative Region (54 discharged cases), and 15,742 cases in Taiwan (12,957 discharged cases and 791 deaths).
