An attentive ear and an identical vision of the situation on the external border of the European Union.

This is what the Lithuanian authorities found with Commissioner Ylva Johansson.

This is not a real migration crisis.

These are the actions of a regime that

hijacked a flight

between two European cities.

All this in order to destabilize the situation,

 ”she said.

The priority is therefore for all to stop the

arrival of migrants

, especially since air links between Iraq and Minsk have become more frequent since the beginning of August.

“

The situation is deteriorating day by day.

I have seen the need for the construction of a physical barrier

, ”added the European Commissioner.

Lithuania is ready to pay the necessary sum for this.

But above all, she expects help from the European Union to organize the return of the migrants.

Dialogue with Iraq is underway, the Commissioner has confirmed.

Lithuania should not be left alone.

At the end of the week, a technical team will travel to Vilnius to concretely discuss the support mechanisms to be put in place.
