He originally comes from Denmark but has lived in Sweden since the age of ten.

For the past four years Andreas Talberg Pedersen has lived in Karlskrona.

In addition to working in the Armed Forces, he spends a lot of time on ultra-running where you run long distances.

Test the limits

An ultramarathon is when the distance is longer than the usual marathon distance, which is a little over 4.2 km.

Andreas had run the longest Kullamannen Ultra 100 miles, which is 170 km.

Now he wanted to test his limits and run 110 km - from Karlskrona in Blekinge to the Norwegian border at Strömstad in Bohuslän.

- It was a pretty spontaneous idea I got just over three weeks before, pretty crazy.

The more I thought about it, the more it became obvious, he says.

"Too much food"

He mentions the old runner Rune Larsson as a source of inspiration.

He has run long distances across Europe and North America in the past with a pram.

Andreas packed the necessary things - a hammock, sleeping gear and a little more - in his newly purchased pram.

- I have no children myself, but it was good that I put some money on a stroller that held.

It was possible to refill with water and food almost every three hours so I had enough with a little too much food.

Andreas Talberg Pedersen had to spend a few nights sleeping in the woods before he reached the border with Norway.
