Unusual and almost incessant barking.
This is how the inhabitants of Bischheim, just next to Strasbourg, understood that dogs had abnormal behavior in an apartment.
They then notified the police, and did well.
On their arrival on the scene, the police found six dogs and three puppies in the accommodation, without water or food for several days.
Their owners had gone on vacation without taking the necessary measures for these pets.
The puppies were even crammed "in a rabbit cage", writes the national police of Bas-Rhin in a tweet.
