Jimmie Åkesson says that the Sweden Democrats will strive for influence in a possible new government formation.

- We have the same starting point as we have had all along.

Our starting point is that we are part of such a government, but least of all that we have influence in such a government.

Are you in talks with Ulf Kristersson?

- Right now we talk mostly internally.

And I think that applies to all parties.

Now we have something concrete to relate to.

But I naturally assume that I will have talks with other parties, not least the Moderates soon.

For me, it is important to hear their position.

But it is also important for me to announce what we are prepared to do.

L maintains its position

Liberal Party leader Nyamko Sabuni is determined to support a bourgeois government alternative.

She signs this on Instagram on Monday afternoon.

"The Liberals' message remains unchanged, we stand by working constructively for Sweden to have a liberal and bourgeois government," Sabuni writes.

At the same time, Nyamko Sabuni states that she believes that the government issue will be resolved in future presidential rounds.

The leaders of the Christian Democrats are now also commenting on the message.

Party leader Ebba Busch writes on Facebook:

"For the Christian Democrats, we still see that the best alternative is a bourgeois government where we and the Moderates together form the core.

In addition to the Moderates, it is natural for me to also talk to all parties that strive for a bourgeois government, both the Liberals and the Sweden Democrats. I have a very hard time seeing any reasons to give the Social Democrats and the Green Party renewed confidence ".

Stenevi wants to reach a June agreement

The Green Party's spokesperson Märta Stenevi has previously said that she does not want to see an extra election but first "turn every stone".

- I say what I said for a week, I think it is reasonable that we manage the mandates we have received in the 2018 election and try to find a way forward in this deadlock.

I welcome the message from the Prime Minister, says Stenevi to SVT.

- What we are facing now is a very clear choice before Stefan Löfven continues as Prime Minister or that we get a Prime Minister in Ulf Kristersson who is tied up in the lap of Jimmie Åkesson.

We need to find some form of June agreement or collaboration in the Riksdag between the parties that have clearly indicated that they do not want to see a Kristersson government, says Stenevi.

M leader Ulf Kristersson says at a press conference on Monday afternoon that he is prepared to lead a bourgeois government.

At the same time, he emphasizes that this is currently a topic for discussion with the President.

- I do not intend to anticipate any events.

I can only state that if there are conditions, we are ready to form a new bourgeois government.
