The alarm about the shooting came to the police at 23 on Friday night.
When the police found the man in a residential area in central Bålsta, his life could not be saved.
According to chamber prosecutor Anne Sjöblom, this is an unusual case.
- I can not remember that I previously had a case where a woman has used a firearm, she says.
The woman and the man must have had an ongoing relationship.

- The woman has admitted that she fired the weapon that killed the man, but I do not want to go into her motives and reasons today, says Anne Sjöblom, chamber prosecutor at Uppsala District Court.
The woman is suspected for probable cause, the higher the degree of suspicion.
Prosecution must be brought no later than 19 July.
