Foreign Minister Eui-yong Eui said, "We will take the strongest possible response" regarding the Tokyo Olympic Organizing Committee's marking Dokdo as Japanese territory on its homepage map.
Minister Chung said at the plenary meeting of the National Assembly's Foreign Communications Commission today (28), saying, "I have already strongly protested against the Japanese side" to the question of Democratic Party Rep. Kim Young-joo, who asked for a countermeasure by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to this issue.
"We will not tolerate misconduct (Japanese) against Dokdo," Jung added.
