• US climate correspondent John Kerry in Rome: "Emissions must be reduced in this decade"

May 14, 2021 Prime Minister Mario Draghi met the US President's Special Envoy for Climate, John F. Kerry, at Palazzo Chigi this morning.

During the meeting - according to Palazzo Chigi - the importance of close collaboration between Italy and the United States was discussed in order to effectively tackle the climate emergency and the challenge of decarbonisation in all multilateral forums, starting with the G7 , the G20 and the COP26, and to seize the opportunities offered by the ecological transition.


I had the honor to meet with Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi.
