- This is the strongest theory we have, says Helena Lundgren that the police officer at the address was the target.

It was at six o'clock in the morning on a Saturday in November that residents of Salabacke woke up to a powerful explosion.

Later it turned out to be a hand grenade that was thrown into a stairwell and detonated there.

Suspects were released

The police initiated a so-called special incident and two people were arrested - only to be released later.

- They are not interesting in the investigation today, says Helena Lundgren without wanting to comment on whether a new suspect has been added.

- The picture begins to become clear about what happened and how it happened.

The National Forensic Center (NFC) has succeeded in producing technical evidence that we are working on further.

And we have interesting observations of a moped and people, says Helena Lundgren who leads the preliminary investigation.

No more attempted murder

Since November, the investigation has been reclassified from attempted murder to general destruction.

It (the hand grenade, editor's note) was thrown into a stairwell at a time of day when there are not that many people in the stairwell.

If it had been an assassination attempt, it would have been done in a different way.

In the clip above, you can see the damage the hand grenade did to the stairwell.
