Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) - The cold front of a storm low over the North Sea ensures rain and strong winds that can reach hurricane strength in Baden-Württemberg on Tuesday.

While gusts of up to 85 kilometers per hour are expected in the lower elevations in the afternoon, the German Weather Service (DWD) predicts hurricane-like gusts of up to 115 kilometers per hour in the mountains and even gusts of gusts of up to 130 kilometers per hour in peak locations.
