Bleckede (dpa / lni) - The police have dug a professional marijuana plantation in a former fitness center in Bleckede in the Lüneburg district.
After a tip, the building was searched on Tuesday.
Two men between the ages of 26 and 27 had been arrested, according to a statement from the Central Criminal Inspectorate in Lüneburg and the public prosecutor's office on Wednesday.
One tried to escape through a cellar shaft, but got stuck.
The man suffered abrasions on his arms and back.
Around 1,800 marijuana plants and 22 kilograms of marijuana flowers were seized.
The men should be brought before the judge in Lüneburg.
