Offenbach (dpa / lhe) - The weather in Hesse remains mostly friendly until the middle of the week.
With a lot of sunshine, temperatures of up to 17 degrees are expected on Tuesday, said the German Weather Service (DWD) in Offenbach.
On Wednesday night the temperatures drop to zero degrees, in the mountains to -1 degrees.
Ground frost is then widespread.
According to the DWD forecast, Wednesday begins brightly, later cumulus clouds gather.
In the afternoon there can be a few showers, but mostly it stays dry.
Temperatures reach 17 degrees in the north of the country and 21 degrees south of the Main.
On Thursday the sky will remain very cloudy, rain and thunderstorm showers are possible.
The maximum values are between 15 and 18 degrees.
