Hamm (dpa / lnw) - Six people were arrested in a raid against drug dealers and “fake police officers” in Hamm.

Almost a week ago, 13 apartments, a café and a kiosk were searched, some of them in Kamen, said the police in Hamm and the Dortmund public prosecutor's office on Monday.

During the large-scale operation with the support of special forces, five men and one woman between the ages of 18 and 49 were arrested.

One of them (30) is said to have recruited people who then stole money and valuables from victims of fraud as alleged police officers.

The 30-year-old is also said to have been a drug trafficker and has now been taken into custody.

A 35-year-old was taken to the prison because there was an enforcement arrest warrant against him, as the investigators further reported.

The other four were released.

During the searches, cocaine, heroin, ecstasy, amphetamines and marijuana with a retail value of around 20,000 euros were seized.

In addition, the officers encountered, among other things, cash in the four-digit amount, stolen goods worth around 10,000 euros and alarm guns.
