Leipzig (dpa / sn) - A cyclist in Leipzig was seriously injured in a collision with a car.
The 19-year-old was taken to a hospital on Sunday afternoon, the police said on Monday morning.
The woman was driving on Hermann-Liebmann-Strasse in the direction of Eisenbahnstrasse, where she collided with a car turning left onto Dornbergerstrasse.
She was thrown over the hood of the car.
The driver got out of his vehicle and asked the seriously injured cyclist if anything had happened to her.
Then he got back in his car and drove off in an unknown direction.
It was initially unclear whether and what the 19-year-old replied to the driver.
The police are now investigating because of the accident.
