“A criminal case has been initiated against the head and deputy head of the investigation department of the Russian Interior Ministry in the Solntsevo district of Moscow, as well as the district police officer of the said department,” according to the website of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee for Moscow.
It is noted that they are suspected of taking a particularly large bribe - 12 million rubles.
According to the investigation, for the indicated amount, the defendants promised to make certain procedural decisions within the framework of their official powers.
The investigators managed to suppress the illegal actions of the defendants.
At present, the necessary investigative actions are being carried out with the detainees.
In the near future they will be charged and a preventive measure will be chosen.
