April 22, 2021 - Dozens of migrants are missing, and it is feared that they drowned, in the sinking of a rubber boat off the Libyan coast, according to reports from Sos Mediterranee.



According to reports from the crew of the Ocean Viking, 130 people were on board a rubber dinghy that had attempted the crossing in prohibitive sea conditions and of which traces have been lost to the north-east of Tripoli. Thirteen corpses have so far been sighted at sea but it has not been possible to recover them. 



"Over 100 people killed off the coast of Libya. A boat we were in contact with capsized. OceanViking found lifeless bodies. All authorities were alerted, Frontex had spotted them: they let them drown". Alarm Phone writes it on Twitter.
