“All expelled employees of the Czech Embassy should be returned to their places in Moscow.

We expect a decision until 12:00 Thursday.

If it is not adopted, then we will proceed with the option of bringing the staffs of both embassies into parity in terms of the number of employees, "Kulganek told reporters, quoted by TASS.

The minister added that the expulsion of 20 Czech diplomats "virtually paralyzed the work of the republic's embassy".

On April 17, the Czech Republic notified Russia of the expulsion of 18 Russian diplomats.

In response, Moscow declared 20 employees of the Czech Embassy persona non grata and ordered them to leave Russia on April 19 before the end of the day.
