Kiel (dpa / lno) - Schleswig-Holstein continues to reject nationwide exit restrictions with an incidence of more than 100 due to the federal corona emergency brake.

"But we will not call the mediation committee because we do not want a delay," said Prime Minister Daniel Günther (CDU) on Tuesday in a special session of the state parliament.

The law should come into force as soon as possible.

When discussing the amendment to the Infection Protection Act, the country will make a corresponding protocol declaration.

Günther spoke of “considerable abdominal pain” with a view to general exit restrictions. His government would have liked to see a much more differentiated approach to contain the pandemic. Cluster outbreaks would have to be assessed differently than a diffuse infection process. The country is not against curfews in principle. "But we do not consider it appropriate from 100 onwards." The Jamaica coalition makes this clear in a motion for a resolution on the Infection Protection Act.

At times, the impression was created, "as if the federal states urgently needed federal help with corona management," said Günther.

This is only necessary for the vaccine.

"We would not have needed this change in Schleswig-Holstein."

There are already all possibilities to take action against the corona pandemic.

Sometimes he wonders how little action is taken in other federal states.
