Max Verstappen (Red Bull) won Sunday the Grand Prix of Emilia-Romagna, eventful after a start in the rain in Imola (Italy), ahead of Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) in this second round of the Formula 1 world championship.

Starting from pole position but overtaken at the first corner by Verstappen, championship leader Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) then left the track halfway through the race before finally climbing to 2nd place.

Lando Norris (McLaren) completed the podium as other Mercedes driver Valtteri Bottas retired after an accident.
