Last week, the appointment in the Blekinge region opened for vaccination via 1177 for people aged 70 and older.

Many have used the new service and now it's time for the next group to book their first dose, namely 65-plus.

The appointment is opened on Friday 16 April, where you book an appointment at the health center where you are listed.

If you cannot book via the internet, you can also call your health center.

- My tip is to try again in a few days if times run out.

Do not call 1177 because the nurses there cannot help with appointments, says Henrik Magnell.

Those who were born in 1956 but have not yet turned 65, however, must call their health center to make an appointment.

This is due to the Swedish Public Health Agency's recommendation that those under the age of 65 should have something other than Astra Zeneca's vaccine.
