On June 5, Skara summerland wants to be able to open its gates to the public - if the government allows.

It all depends on the restriction that currently applies to general gatherings of eight people being replaced by the Pandemic Act's regulation of one person per 20 square meters, or something similar.

The final decision on this will come from the government on 3 May.

In the clip, you hear Janne Nilsson, CEO of Skara summerland, tell how many visitors the new rules can mean.

Liseberg will be a promenade park

Liseberg Amusement Park is also working on an opening later this spring.

In a press release, they write that the hope is to be able to open at the beginning of May, if the new regulation that regulates amusement parks enters into force as planned.

Their plan is to simultaneously open up for a walking path outside the amusement park's regular opening hours.

The attractions will then be closed, and the focus will instead be on the park's gardens and plantations.

For Liseberg, the rule of 1 person per 20 square meters would mean that around 5,000 guests could come in, a fifth of what you have during "a normal summer day".

- We will return with a definite opening date and more about how guests can visit the park this year, as soon as we know for sure, says the park's CEO Andreas Andersen in the press release.
