) adopted the FDA's recommendation to temporarily suspend the use of AstraZeneca vaccines for those under the age of 60 following recent reports of rare cases of education blood clots with a low platelet count in some people vaccinated with this drug, ”the department noted.

At the same time, the head of the FDA regulator Erid Domingo stressed that the temporary suspension of the use of the vaccine "does not mean that the vaccine is unsafe or ineffective." 

On April 7, the South Korean government decided to suspend the coronavirus vaccination with the drug company AstraZeneca for citizens under 60 years old.

Later that day, a similar decision was made in Estonia, and in Britain, the medical regulator recommended not to use the AstraZeneca vaccine among people under 30 years of age.
