China News Service, Beijing, April 6 (Li Jingze) China International Television Station (CGTN) recently launched the fourth part of a series of Xinjiang anti-terrorism documentaries, which aroused widespread public concern.

In this regard, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian said that although the four anti-terrorism documentaries differ in focus and perspective, they all reflect the nature of Xinjiang-related issues, that is, anti-terrorism and de-radicalization issues.

  According to Zhao Lijian, in the first documentary "Frontiers of Anti-Terrorism in Xinjiang, China", countless scenes truly reflect the large number of violent terrorist incidents in Xinjiang; the second documentary "Behind the scenes "Eastern Iraq Movement" and Xinjiang Violent Terrorism" used Sufficient and strong evidence shows that the terrorist organization of the "Eastern Iraq Movement" is the culprit in Xinjiang's violent terrorist incidents; the third documentary "The Towering Tianshan Mountains-China's Xinjiang Anti-terrorist Memory" truly restores the cadres and masses of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang to fight against terrorism and extremism. The tremendous efforts and sacrifices made; the fourth documentary "Undercurrents-China's Xinjiang Counter-terrorism Challenge" just broadcast refutes the so-called "excessive anti-terrorism" and "genocide" fallacies in Xinjiang with facts, confirming the "Eastern Iraq Movement" It is a terrorist organization through and through.

  Zhao Lijian emphasized that although there have been no violent terrorist incidents in Xinjiang for more than four consecutive years, it still faces threats and challenges from terrorism and extremism to this day.

It is still very necessary for Xinjiang to continue its anti-terrorism and de-radicalization work in accordance with the law.
