Saarbrücken (dpa / lrs) - 192 new corona infections were registered in Saarland within one day.
This means that 1623 people are currently proven to be infected with the Sars-CoV-2 virus, as the Ministry of Health announced on Wednesday (as of 4:00 p.m.).
The number of deaths related to Covid-19 increased by one to 940, the number of new corona infections per 100,000 inhabitants within the past seven days to 89.9.
According to the information, 144 corona patients were currently being treated in the hospital, 49 of them in an intensive care unit.
Since the beginning of the pandemic around a year ago, 31,968 corona cases have been registered in Saarland.
