Hamburg (dpa / lno) - Defending champion Club on the Alster, the start of the third part of the women's field hockey championship has been successful.

Despite the victory, coach Jens George criticized: "It was a bit wild at times."

With a view to the games in the Euro Hockey League (EHL) in two weeks, "a lot has to happen," said the coach.

The women from HTHC (4th) had to be satisfied with two points from the games at Rüsselsheim RK (2: 2) and against Munich SC (0: 0).

«We're a little disappointed.

Nonetheless, we are in a good position and with 14 points and 25 goals ahead we are already expecting to play in the quarter-finals, ”said coach Christian Blunck.

The HTHC men (3rd) are after the 4: 3 (1: 2) against the Crefeld HTC in the A group also on the quarter-final course.

With three goals in the corner, Michael Körper played a decisive role in the success against the direct pursuer.

The Alster men (5th) could not use the rifle help and remain on a relegation round place after the 0: 3 (0: 1) against the Berlin HC.
