Boxing Paris Olympics World Qualifiers Japan failed to qualify for all eight weight classes. Japan was able to earn the right to participate in all 8 weight classes of the men and women who participated in the world boxing qualifying round for the Paris Olympics.
Two men's light welterweight Shion Nishiyama and women's light flyweight Suzuka Kinoshita survived until the final day on the 11th, and both competed in the quarterfinals to qualify. The eight athletes will once again aim to qualify at the final world qualifiers, which will be held in Thailand from late May this year.
