Luxembourg is also temporarily suspending corona vaccinations with the preparation from the manufacturer Astrazeneca.
The Luxembourg Ministry of Health announced on Monday evening that it is a precautionary measure until the analysis by the European Medicines Agency (EMA) is available.
The background to this are reports of blood clots in connection with a corona vaccination with the preparation.
With this step, Luxembourg joins the decisions of several other European countries, it said.
Germany and France had suspended the vaccinations with Astrazeneca for the time being on Monday.
Previously, some other European countries had temporarily stopped vaccinations with the vaccine from the British-Swedish pharmaceutical company.
