Rescue services and an ambulance were alerted at 02.50 to a fire in a terraced house in Gökhöjden in Karlstad municipality.
- It is a fully developed fire in one end of the terraced house, says Joakim Blomberg, at the Bergslagen Rescue Region.
At 05.30, rescue services were on site with three units to limit the spread of the fire.
- The fire is judged to be under control, but it is still burning so we will be in place for a while to limit and extinguish.
No one injured
About 10-15 homes have been evacuated.
There is no information on injuries.
The police have launched a preliminary investigation into general negligence.
