Leipzig (dpa / sn) - Further easing of the Corona crisis: In Leipzig museums, galleries, animal parks and the zoo are allowed to open from next Monday (March 15) subject to conditions.

The city announced this in its general decree on Tuesday.

With this, Leipzig implemented the possibilities of the latest Saxon Corona Protection Ordinance, it said.

A visit to museums, zoo and co. Is only possible after prior appointment and with proven contact tracking.

With 45 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants in one week, Leipzig currently has the lowest value in Saxony and is also well below the Saxony-wide incidence of 84.4.

The Free State had given the municipalities opening options last week if certain incidences are met.

In addition, from Wednesday shopping with appointment, the so-called Click and Meet will be possible in Leipzig.
