Japanese Prime Minister lays flowers at Memorial in Fukushima Prefecture

Suga's last visit to Fukushima was last September.

Earlier, the National Meteorological Office of Japan called the earthquake that struck the country on February 13 as an aftershock of the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake.
