Gummersbach (dpa / lnw) - Very drunk, a 42-year-old car driver rammed a barrier with her car and tore it off when leaving a parking garage in Gummersbach (Oberbergischer Kreis).

The Engelskirchenerin said she drove too far forward at the parking machine on Wednesday.

When attempting to reset, she apparently engaged the forward gear and tore the barrier from its anchorage, the police said.

An alcohol test on the woman showed a value of more than 3.6 per thousand.

A blood sample was taken and the driver's license confiscated.

Nevertheless, the 42-year-old was caught by officers in her car about two and a half hours later when she wanted to drive home - as a precaution, the car key was now withheld, according to the police.
