The first car with Russian license plates was detained in Lithuania. The driver of the car is a citizen of Moldova.
The car, valued at $41.7 thousand, “was confiscated.” It was previously reported that about 50 cars with Russian state registration numbers continue to be in Lithuania, it was reported earlier this year. The vehicle was registered to a Russian citizen and she was not in the vehicle at the time of the arrest, the Lithuanian Customs Department said.
