Big fright on line 1 of the Semitan network this Wednesday.

At around 10:30 am, a tram running between the Commerce and Médiathèque stations violently struck a vehicle at the crossroads located below the rue Jean-Jacques-Rousseau.

The shock, spectacular, resulted in the tram going off the rails.

Line 1 traffic was immediately cut off in both directions.

It was partially restored around 12 noon once the train was put back in place.

However, traffic remained disrupted until around 1:30 p.m.

The driver of the vehicle was severely shaken but luckily was not injured.

No injuries either inside the tram, reports Semitan.
