"The Federal Office for Health Safety has been reported 41 deaths close to the time of the vaccine against COVID-19 (all Pfizer / BioNTech)", - leads TASS message.
It is noted that in 11 cases, the vaccine was delivered to patients during the incubation period of coronavirus disease, during which people died.
"Another 19 people previously had serious illnesses, presumably causing death," - added to the department.
At the moment, experts have not identified any links between deaths with the use of the vaccine, the investigation is ongoing.
Earlier, the Swiss drug market surveillance authority Swissmedic said that at least 16 people have died in the country after being vaccinated against the coronavirus.
