"Operational-search measures have been successfully completed to detain convict Davutov, who escaped from the LA-155/18 institution in Almaty on February 15," RIA Novosti is quoted by the press service of the committee of the criminal executive system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
It is noted that Davutov was detained in the city of Aktobe on February 28.
A number of employees of the Alma-Ata pre-trial detention center were brought to disciplinary responsibility for the violations committed.
It is clarified that before the escape, the convict received six years in prison for theft and fraud.
