February 26, 2021 Lawyer, invited to return to the field, called to save the unity of the Movement, to relaunch it. The 5-star Movement appeals to the former Prime Minister Conte, Beppe Grillo offered him a top role (political leader, secretary or even president) but the game of driving is intertwined with the rules of engagement, for this reason - he explains a 'big' pentastellato - it will take a few more days to untie the knot. Because the alternative - that is, a party of its own - is fraught with obstacles but the Apulian jurist is aware - parliamentary sources explain - he would put himself at the head of the Movement only on conditions not to remain entangled in the network of statutory rules and continuous internal quarrels. According to what is learned, there should be a meeting between the 'bigs', Grillo and the former prime minister in the coming days. The summit is scheduled for Sunday 28 February.

Meanwhile, the former premier is back in the chair today.

In the afternoon he will hold a live video link lesson - without audience present - from the University of Florence.

A law lesson during which he should emphasize the role of Europe and the 'Recovery fund' process, retrace the steps of this pandemic year, dwell on the use of the Dpcm, on the fact that the state of emergency is not foreseen by Constitution.

No word on his (possible) future role and his intentions.

"But the news could come soon", explain parliamentary sources who do not hide the concerns about the internal fibrillations of the Movement, noting that at this moment we need a commissioner rather than a leader.

Yesterday another farewell, that of Senator Dessi ', "15 years of common history are not easily erased".

And more malaise.

From the deputies Cataldi and Trizzino (who together with the former minister Spadafora in recent days met Carelli who left the Movement) to the former deputy minister Buffagni according to whom the house should be rearranged.

What's more, the game of undersecretaries has increased the chaos.

The goal now is to rediscover the lost compactness and the aim is to do so in the name of the former Prime Minister Conte, perhaps entrusting him with the writing - together with the new 'governance' - of a new political manifesto, even perhaps through a place of confrontation with activists who put not the structure but the programs at the center of the agenda, such as that ecological transition that will be part of the new DNA of the Movement, with Beppe Grillo who also asked to speed up the process.

Di Maio: "Conte must decide, he grew up with us and we with him"

"Personally I believe that Giuseppe's entry would be a very important fact for Italian politics as well, it would bring his wealth of knowledge, mediation skills and also of personality within the Movement ".

Luigi Di Maio said this in the live Facebook interview with Andrea Scanzi, underlining that in any case it will have to be the former Prime Minister to "decide, he has his own idea of how to carry out his near future and based on we make choices. "" I feel very attached to him for what we have lived together in these years ", said the Foreign Minister, stating that he is" happy that the affection of the Movement towards him is always growing more".

"Giuseppe grew up with us and we grew up with him", underlined Di Maio then explained that the M5S is "in the Draghi government for national responsibility, responding to the appeal of President Mattarella", underlining that the presence in the government it is also crucial to "defend the laws we have made and take a position on many other issues, such as those of the environment".

Fraccaro: "Count the right man to guide us"

After years of movement and then of government, the M5s "is at a crossroads: we have to decide whether to dissolve or transform ourselves. I am convinced that this experience should not be exhausted, but to continue living it will have to be refounded and structured ".

Riccardo Fraccaro, a grillino deputy and former undersecretary of the Council of Ministers, says this in an interview with La Stampa.

Only at the end of this path can we better understand the role of Conte, "the right man to guide us in this transition" he explains.

The former premier "can take the leadership and the collegiate secretariat can support him in his choices. We can structure ourselves by maintaining the participation of activists and elected representatives in decisions, horizontally, but these must be implemented vertically. We need a top management and a structure, with managers territorial and thematic ".

On the procedures "it will be decided later. We are waiting for Conte to accept our invitation. But we have to run, the time has come to sit around a table and give a new impulse to the Movement".

Beghin: "I hope Conte will take on a leading role"

The M5s has passed "from a Conte government, strongly identifying for us, to an executive that for its heterogeneity causes disorientation: the instability and internal shocks of these days were largely predictable , but I am convinced that the Movement will also overcome this difficult phase ".

This was stated in an interview with Avvenire Tiziana Beghin, head of the 5 Star delegation to the European Parliament.

"In recent times there has been an out-of-control quarrel in groups and an excess of personalism in general, while in such a difficult situation of government unity and teamwork is needed," he explains.

Giuseppe Conte is "a person with a strong political capacity and great human depth, so I hope he decides to join the M5s and take on a leading role".

Conte "is a figure that unites, so he would be an ideal resource for a Movement that, like never before, needs to remain united".

Villarosa, also expelled from the Movement as well as from the group

"This morning I received the expulsion procedure also from the national '5-star movement' after receiving the one from the 'M5s parliamentary group' on Friday".

This was confirmed by former M5s undersecretary Alessio Villarosa.

"I thank all the friends who wanted to show me affection, I will not forget it", he continues on Facebook.

"Excluding myself from a thank you by canceling my work and the results achieved from within the government in recent years - he attacks - simply qualifies those who did it. I fly as high as I have always done without controversy, I don't need it".

Lezzi: "Suspended by the Movement"

"The mail has arrived from the board of arbitrators in which they inform me of the suspension from the M5S until the entire procedure is concluded".

Senator M5s Barbara Lezzi writes on Facebook.

"I have a few days to present my counter-arguments - he adds - and I will promptly retrace all the steps that led me to the choice to vote NO to the Draghi government. I know the statute in all its parts, I know all the underlying rules well. to the various procedures and I have acted and will act respecting everything ".
