At the time of the facts, in September 2018, he had been trapped by teenagers.
Tuesday, a 62-year-old man was sentenced by the Bourg-en-Bresse (Ain) correctional court to eighteen months in prison, including nine months closed, for acts of attempted corruption of minors.
At the time, a group of teenagers spotted posters plastered in the city offering sex to men aged 14 to 30, reports
Le Progrès.
The boys had called the number listed to check if it was a hoax.
But the man had accepted the meeting fixed by the kids.
He then proposed to a 13-year-old teenager to follow him to a public toilet to have sex.
The boy had managed to leave the place while his friends alerted the police and followed the sixty-year-old home.
Arrested in the wake, the man had recognized the accusations.
Currently in detention for acts of violence, the defendant refused to be taken out of his cell and was not present during his trial.
He was also sentenced to an obligation of care and banned from coming into contact with minors.
