Earlier this year, for the first time in modern times, two wolves were tracked walking together in Skåne.
Whether it is a male and a female - which in that case could form a territory - has not yet been answered, but according to the county administrative board, it is likely that it is.

No lone wolves
The game officers at the county administrative board have sent urine samples for analysis.
Answers to the sex of the wolves and from which territory they originally come are expected sometime this week or next.
Nils Carlsson makes the comparison with so-called wandering wolves who walk alone.
- They crash through the landscape and can be seen all the way down by Malmö.
These two stay in an area around Degeberga, Brösarp, Linderödsåsen.

If these two wolves mate - when can it be relevant with wolf puppies in Skåne?
- It could be relevant already by the summer.
What is the risk or chance that this will happen?
- I do not know.
