Munich (dpa / lby) - Icy temperatures and sunshine await the people of Bavaria at the weekend.
According to the German Weather Service (DWD), it remains frosty.
The daily highs in the Free State on Saturday at minus 7 degrees in Kempten and minus 2 degrees in Bamberg.
During the day, the sun shows up in many places.
At midday it can still be foggy on the edge of the Alps and on the eastern low mountain range.
In the night of Sunday it will be bitterly cold again, with lows of down to minus 13 degrees in Hof and minus 11 degrees in Munich.
Occasionally, the temperatures drop again to minus 20 degrees.
According to the forecast, the sun will also prevail against the fog on Sunday.
For the first time, temperatures are expected to reach values above freezing again: 1 degree on the Lower Main and minus 4 to 0 degrees in the rest of the country.
