“On the fact of the death of patients, the investigative bodies of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Moscow Region have opened a criminal case,” the message says.
As noted, the progress of the investigation of the criminal case was put under control by the head of the department, Alexander Bastrykin.
Earlier, the media reported that three patients died due to the cessation of oxygen supply in the Odintsovo hospital.
On behalf of the Minister of Health of Russia Mikhail Murashko, the territorial body of Roszdravnadzor began an inspection.
The medical facility said there was a failure in the oxygen supply. They noted that at the time of the incident, none of the patients died, subsequently two died due to the severity of the condition.
