Los Angeles (AP) - US actress Kaley Cuoco (35, “The Big Bang Theory”) posted two videos on Instagram in which she followed the nominations in bed early Wednesday morning (local time).

"Oh my God!"

she screeches in disbelief and puts her hands over her face when her name is read out.

"I will never forget this moment and I just can't stop crying," Cuoco wrote about the post.

The actress owed her first Globe nomination to her leading role in the HBO thriller series "The Flight Attendant".

The black humor series, co-produced by Cuoco, about a flight attendant in search of a murderer, also has opportunities in the «Comedy Series» category.

In "The Big Bang Theory" Cuoco played the waitress Penny, who is friends with a clique of weird scientists.

The award-winning sitcom ended in 2019 after twelve years and 279 episodes.

Globe winner Jim Parsons, who played the physicist Sheldon Cooper, had been nominated several times, Cuoco was always passed over.

The Association of Foreign Press announced the nominations in 25 film and television categories on Wednesday.

The Globe trophies are due to be awarded on February 28th.
