Berlin (dpa / bb) - A drunk man is said to have kicked a wheelchair user in Berlin-Mitte down.

The 29-year-old drove on an S4 S-Bahn early on Sunday morning and asked the other passengers for change, the police said.

She met the 33-year-old suspect who, according to witnesses, complained about the actions of the wheelchair user and then kicked her means of transport.

The woman tipped over with the wheelchair and fell out.

According to the information, a 24-year-old passenger rushed to help her, which led to a scramble with the suspect who is said to have kicked the helper in the head.

Alarmed police arrested the man at the Alexanderplatz S-Bahn station, the woman and the helper refused medical treatment.

A breath alcohol measurement on the arrested person showed a value of 1.2 per thousand.

The police are investigating a possible connection with the attack on two homeless people at the Tiergarten S-Bahn station shortly before.
