On Friday evening there was a scuffle in the Asian wholesale market Dong Xuan Center in Berlin. Men attacked each other with machetes, knives and wooden slats.
All those involved are now out of danger. The Dong Xuan Centre with around 350 shops consists of several large halls, each with dozens of shops, which are mainly run and visited by Vietnamese. In 2023, a 28-year-old was stabbed and seriously injured there. The police initially spoke of a total of five injured on Saturday. A search is currently underway for other perpetrators.
