Stuttgart (dpa) - The German national handball goalkeeper Johannes Bitter is concerned with a change from TVB Stuttgart to FC Barcelona, according to information from "Sport Bild".
"Yes, there are some interesting inquiries, and I will decide what to do after the World Cup," the 38-year-old told the magazine (Wednesday).
Bitter's former club, HSV Hamburg, should also be interested.
Its managing director Sebastian Frecke said they were in contact with Bitter.
"In the current competitive situation with FC Barcelona we are certainly only a small light."
TVB managing director and trainer, Jürgen Schweikardt, said that “everything is still open” at the moment.
Bitter was only twelfth with the national team at the World Cup in Egypt, but had played well in his appearances.
He has been playing for Bundesliga club TVB Stuttgart since 2016.
