Aue (dpa) - The Würzburger Kickers have missed a surprise at FC Erzgebirge Aue.

The bottom of the 2nd Bundesliga gave up the lead in the final minutes and lost 1: 2 (0: 0) to the Saxons.

The ex-Auer Ridge Munsy (52nd) had brought Bernhard Trares' team, who was represented by his assistants Philipp Eckart and Benjamin Sachse due to his suspension, in the lead.

Florian Krüger (78th) and Florian Ballas (85th) scored for the hosts to a happy victory.

The guests were at eye level right from the start and made the encounter open.

The Auer could not use their first chances.

First Pascal Testroet failed from close range (8th), then Krüger (27th) missed the kicker case after a class pass from Clemens Fandrich.

After the change, Krüger (50th) was able to cheer briefly, but he was previously offside.

Munsy did better on the other side: Captain Arne Feick served the Swiss, who had a lot of space in the penalty area and chased the ball under the crossbar from an acute angle.

After falling behind, Aue shifted up a gear, but didn't really have any creative ideas.

The hosts countered only after a liberation and scored their 600th goal in the second division through Krüger.

Testroet, who once marked the 500th hit, unselfishly hung up on the counterattack for his teammate.

Then Ballas ensured the 50th game for Aue coach Dirk Schuster with a long-range shot from 20 meters.
