.

The case began the day after the young man's accident.

The authorities decide to go to his apartment in the Sydney suburbs.

There, they discover the lifeless body of a young woman, who had been his girlfriend for two years.

Investigators said she was allegedly beaten to death.

Accident or suicide attempt?

The police quickly suspected the young man in a coma to be the author of these fatal blows.

It was for this reason that they were at his bedside when he woke up.

They wonder in particular about the fall of the latter.

"Witnesses explained that he fell from a common room on the fourth floor: it would either be an accident or a suicide attempt," said the detective inspector in charge of the case .

Now, the young man will have to submit to questions from investigators, reports the American media.
