The UN named the date of the return of the United States to the climate agreement

“The Paris Agreement will enter into force for the United States on February 19, 2021,” reads a statement posted on the UN website.

Earlier, US President Joe Biden signed decrees to return the United States to the Paris Climate Agreement and the World Health Organization.

Guterres then stated that he welcomed these decrees.
