[HIGHLIGHTS] The UN Climate Convention is in limbo

The UN Climate Convention is in limbo. The UN body is canceling a whole series of events planned for this year, such as the Climate Weeks.

Climate Weeks are other international meetings dedicated to the climate, financed by the UNFCCC. There were four Climate Weeks in 2023: in Kenya, Saudi Arabia, Panama and Malaysia. In 2024, there will be... zero. The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) is no longer sufficiently funded to organize them.
